The Brass Bull’s Digital Experience Brought to Life in Collaboration with MadeByCat

Who designed and developed The Brass Bull website?

The Brass Bull’s digital experience was brought to life in collaboration with MadeByCat, covering UX/UI design, the motion-driven web experience and development.

Bringing the venue’s character online

The Brass Bull is a craft burger brand at Emaar Shopping Mall in Istanbul. Its digital experience starts with the sensory side of dining: fire, the texture of the bun and the layers of the burger become the centre of the story.

This digital experience was designed and developed in collaboration with MadeByCat.

Information architecture

The homepage opens with five scenes following the making of a burger: threshold, origin, anatomy, fire and the signature burger. The product carries the character of the food and lifestyle brand rather than relying on a long introduction.

A horizontally moving brand story, visual menu and visit information follow the opening sequence. The information architecture moves from atmosphere to product, then from product to place.

UX/UI design

Molten cheese, toasted bun, lettuce and tomato provide the references for the visual system. Large headings and short passages sit in the space around the product in each scene, keeping the burger as the visual focus.

In the menu, the selected burger’s image and content change together. Product presentation continues the opening’s visual language rather than becoming a separate catalogue.

Motion design and scroll interactions

In the scroll-driven experience, the burger’s movement follows the visitor’s scrolling. The video advances through prepared image frames on a canvas, with headings and text appearing at the corresponding moment of each scene.

Motion is not just decoration: it turns the product’s layers and preparation rhythm into the sequence of the story. The horizontal story that follows introduces a different reading pace.

Responsive experience and web development

Information architecture, UX/UI design, the motion-led experience and web development were shaped in collaboration with MadeByCat. Scene copy, product imagery and the menu adapt to mobile, tablet and desktop screens; the site is available in Turkish and English.

Progressive frame loading and caching are part of the existing scroll experience. This story describes the design and development scope; it makes no unverified claims about sales or engagement results.
